Both Images are of the Sans of a New AU im working on called Undertale: Rusting.

Undertale: Rusting (Otherwise known as UTR) is a Alternate Version of the Mainline Undertale where through unknown circumstances Frisk was infected by a Zombie virus before they fell into the underground causing a zombie apocalypse to break loose upon the surface, when Frisk did fall down into the underground the magical nature of the virus allowed monsters to get infected and become zombies as well, however Skeleton Monsters (Like Sans, Papyrus, and W.D Gaster (who is still alive in this AU)) are also already classified as Undead in this AU so they are immune, however when skeleton monsters do get infected with the virus it makes them stronger and they undergo something alphys calls "Rusting" which is named after the fact that rust like blotches appear on the monster's Skin/Bones, "Rusting" makes the Monster a LOT stronger physically, mentally and magically, they can incorporate the virus into their attacks which they can alter to do all sorts of things.

In this AU their is also something called Soulmending which allows a being to put fragments of their own soul into an zombie thus forming a connection with that zombie, they can then command the zombie to do all sorts of things and may even allow them to (re)gain their Free Will and Mind.

Their are multiple survivor groups but their is one central/main one called "The Rusted" the group consists of:

• W.D Gaster (Leader)

• Sans Gaster (Scavenger/Warrior)

• Papyrus Gaster (Scavenger/Secondary Warrior)

• A partially infected Undyne (Berserker)

• Alphys (any medical and scientific role)

• Chara Dreemurr (Zombified/Bonded to Sans)
