According to Oxford languages, a God is a superhuman being or spirit worshiped as having power over nature or human fortunes; a deity.
Think of the Gods in Greek or Norse mythology, or the elder Gods in the C'thulhu mythos, possibly even some of the archives of the SCP wiki. (The scarlet king, Mekhane, Yaldaboth, and the black moon).
Instead of being blatant Alphatale copies, Each and every True Godverse deity, most in which are also known locally as "Residents" (as they are under the authority of King Godverse) is tailored by their respective creator and shown their place. Some individuals such as Duester, Daedalus, or possibly The forager would have something to do with the Godverse's own history, whereas others such as Shadow God sans, Hadeon, and Prisma have minimal relevance in the history of True Godverse, hence serving as just your average neighbors... True Godverse is a Pantheon, which consists of all the gods of a people or religion collectively, and yet every god may not be treated any different from a mortal within its setting, as many may not hold much relevance as others. It is a kingdom that is run by multiple divine governments, and as mortalesque as it is, it's just how the True Godverse was meant to be...
If you want an example of what I'm getting at, I'd play God of War Ragnarok and MAYBE kingdom hearts (since characters like Hades & Sephiroth do make appearances), then watch Disney's Hercules. The residents are mostly just super-beings whom hold immeasurable power, but most of them tend to be akin to your average Joe, rather than actual Gods... hence the term "Resident."
