~ Iden the ancient |
This is the tale of an empty ocean, told from the perspective of a childish God whom sought to bring forth an eternal chaos as the True Godverse was being formed. This tale was the beginning of a timeless conflict that would go down to be one of the Godverse's first quarrels, even being a part of the reason for an endless conflict between the highest powers.
This is... the Re:Genesis, a Retelling of the Genesis, from the perspective of the Bijuu of fortune, Celestio.
Part one - Introduction[]
- The fiction of Godverse was unto a labyrinth of discordance and volatile ideologies.
- This fiction, or this 'sea' rather, is home to gods and goddesses of variable authorities and undefinables.
- Above this sea, a lone figure stood to observe it all unfold; plots, external and internal conflict, character development, the narrative.
- Though this story can be saved for another day.
- Yes, this history is not of its birth or the legend of its finest ruler, but in lieu began at the time of fabrication. Before there was the word 'Aeter', there was nothing, and when there was nothing, there were the higher powers...
- These were the powers that would, in the grand scheme of things, be the driving forces of what True Godverse would be seen as...
- Though, this isn't THEIR STORY!
- THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE MY TALE!
- They were born from nothing, possibly from Omnipotence... but what is Omnipotence? is it a power, or is it a state of being? perhaps it is a metaphor, or a belief that those unnamed dare speak of.
- But questions aside, something was made clear; there was sea of ideas and imagination that churned, bubbled, foamed, and cascaded. Forever in eternal limbo as pages on a piece of paper, as people called 'authors, dreamers, and writers' create and share stories, writing out of their imaginations. From seeds that fell from nothing came higher powers. From general narrative came the highest, whom asserted their dominance across an endless ocean.
- Though... they weren't the only ones.
- The seas churned, Ideas & thoughts stored in unnamed minds roared with activity, the foam of fantasies & what was known of 'reality' cascaded, tidal waves of thousands of minds worked in unison... and then it came.
- From the waves, from the currants, from a storm of thoughts of power or creation, of worlds & knowledge, came something huge. A storm brewed in the endless void, and so from the chaos, 24 beasts came, their tails the first to manifest, followed by the legs until there stood creatures... and so, The Bijuu were born.
Part 2 - True Freedom[]
- It was all just chaos... only an ocean of free will, where the only limit was the imagination... It was called The Godverse because it would be the birth place of Gods, yet it had no identity outside of its meaning... Then one of the higher powers witnessed it: A lesser world full of chromaticity & exuberance, full of emotions such as laughter & sorrow, yet its prime source was none other than the physical manifestation of sheer will: DETERMINATION.
- And so the Godverse began to take shape, the higher powers brought forth a new age and created the first Gods, but as they did a problem began to stir as certain aspects began to rule over others... But it wasn't a problem... I WAS ONLY HAVING FUN!
- Among the Bijuus were countless names, each was given an aspect of creation to take into consideration, such as Magic or order... but there just couldn't be enough magic, as none could compare to how magical & beautiful a world of chaos could be, and yet the others found that way of thinking horrendous, saying it was "without reason" & "less 'interesting' and moreso annoying". One of them said "Oh, Celestio... thou shalt not stray from the path of reason, so by all means necessary, please don't go playing the mad God. Thy must respect consistency!"
- They were blind...
- Little did they understand that behind that one world, stood dozens upon dozens of others, some relatively the same while others were of splendor and chaos! They couldn't handle the idea of breaking 'consistency' so one could doubt they'd disagree with some of the worlds created behind their backs, so while they were creating THEIR works, there just so happened to be a chance to show them the beauty of no limits placed!
- And so if one could put two & two together, it was made clear that they must be given the lesson of understanding the value of legends & epics, and so it had to be done; The others had to know the truth, they had to learn the beauty of magic, and so action would have to be taken.
- Behind the backs of the other Bijuus, some creations were tampered with, they were being told that they were Omnipotent, perhaps so they could serve as experiments to understanding the definitive concept of Omnipotence, as the curiosity of the cat only grew more extreme! Some of the creations were taken, tampered to fit the majority of the lesser world's foundings & named after some of their residents... one could say it was insanity, but there's a saying that one man's trash is another one's treasure.
- But then... it happened.
- The highests that went under the names Fortran & Goddessa began to fight, they were fighting over the fate of the Godverse as we spoke, and as they did, Lotus was working on something that no one had a clue would come to fruition. The battle between two highests was the most glorious thing one could gaze upon, as they fought with such splendor & grace, the plausible destruction was enough for the Bijuus to cower behind walls of protection, but they were fools to believe it would protect them... and yet, when it all ended, only 4 lives were lost, and the benevolence had claimed victory, just as any story would go... but something was wrong.
- Lotus betrayed us.
Part 3 - Starting point of Error Aeter[]
- There was a time where freedom would forever bloom, a time where Gods could indulge in the amusements offered by other 'narratives' by playing participant in the form of characters, event, plots, settings, and more, where everyone fought to assert power or seek out their heart's desires, like a library for mortals... those days would die off when Lotus, a member of the high trinity, chose to silence those whom only sought the treasures of transcendence with a word that was uttered by few members of the Aeter continuum... that name... those participants... they silenced us as they got tired of our pondering over the idea of Omnipotence, and refused to satiate our curiosities... something called "consistency".
- How could this word yield so much relevance? How could "Consistency" be such a menace to the beauty of free will? What did this word mean? Why did Lotus decide to create that... thing! He called it cleansing, removing everything that was "inconsistent" to what he called a narrative. It was tyranny! The thing he called "the great design" was some kind of filter... a porous device for removing "impurities"... these impurities were the illusionary Omnipotences created to possibly educate on the very idea, and as they did, One particular person who called himself 'king' thought it was necessary to bring forth a "better Godverse". He & His servant Cozmo were around as one of the residents who wished to follow the word of Lotus and some particular group in the Aeter continuum's population, the ones they called "the staff".
- These "consistency followers" were insufferable. Everyone whom lived in simplicity was eradicated without warning, every Illusionary Omnipotence just... shrunk until they were nothing. One could say that it was an apocalypse... The Godverse was broken.
- The dream was dead, and whoever was in the right mind to get rid of the beauty of free will for some word that originally had no relevancy in our hearts, I COULD NEVER FORGIVE THEM.
- In the end of the old era, the King & his swarthy servant built a grave over the dead dream of freedom, promising some kind of "Narrative" in hopes they'd garner the interest of outside forces... who were these forces? Who knows, but all that could be said was that at the end of it all, to act as if nothing ever happened, the one who deemed himself "King Godverse" watched as one of his servants built something... some kind of complicated apparatus that no one could understand, and yet it radiated such splendor that it was a spit in the face to the old era! In front of the higher powers, something manifested amongst the Bijuus... it was like a big bang of a higher caliber, the formation of that... "thing" made the crowd go queer! They called it the "Aeter Engine", a machine capable of holding an entire existential structure and, according to the staff, "bring forth a new, formal Godverse".
- But I... I called it repulsive. They shoved me into a nameless corner, to weep until they were "finished" with the new, "True" Godverse... It was disgusting how they falsified everything, how they could lie to the remainders, and make them forget what made the Ancient Godverse special! They said 'Oh Celestio, doth shalt forget the elden times, for they were incomprehensible and childish.', as my own kind exiled me to the Ocean of chaos...
- Once more, they proved they were blind...
