"Oh you poor misguided sheep." - Zazyrus

Zazyrus is an steadfast zealot of Fortran written by DARTHOOM. The human papyrus is rightly attributed to being a servant of Fortran who possess absolute devotion and confidence in his cause, making him merely a puppet that lives solely to serve the deed of his sociopathic master. He is an upcoming minor antagonist of Virus404 and a potential ally for Maalik.

Backstory

Zazyrus was the lone shepherd of the race-swapped AU known as Under!Swap within the human underground. His existence as a shepherd would end roughly around the 5th pacifist run made by Chara. Anti-God, the great destroyer, brought forth complete erasure to the AU and conceptually dissolved every aspect of Under!Swap in a slow fashion. During the collapse and dissolution, Zazyrus was snatched by an invisible force and fell through the multiversal structure of his AU right as the entire cosmic structure was collapsing. During his pull into the void, Zazyrus briefly felt the vibrations of Anti-God's voice echo past the core of his soul.

The experience Zazyrus had with the unearthly sound brought him to a new level of enlightenment; for the first time, he could finally smell the sounds and colors, taste them with his ears, and fully indulge in the fantastic scenery that was the entirety of the omniversal structure. He felt enlightenment as a connotation of a great blessing granted down to him. This was by some sort of higher authority, he'd realize. The endless void he fell into folded in on itself and brought forth him to a new realm of unreality and surreal definitions. He stood on the top of an organic artificial island, one that held no reason or sense.

In the endless tides of seething madness, beyond the island, coherency and logic became meaningless. In this strange place, he would cautiously step toward the edge and peer into the depths of this madness, as one would in water, and witness the totality of every multiverse and dimensional aspect. They were repetitive and meaningless. Death and Life were futile. Good and Bad were constructs of morality that hindered progress. Everything was exactly one simple thing: a parody in the form of a paradox. Zazyrus finally understood the life he led was meaningless in the face of unforgiving infinity, and it frightened him.

As the strange world is continuously strewn about itself with nonsense, a shape before Zazyrus would slowly form deep in the recess of this omniversal ocean before he could pull back his face. A sinister shadow in the shape of a mighty dragon would slowly spread its wings to shelter Zazyrus from the unthinkable depths of creation, entrancing him to continue and watch it. Once the underwater view of Zazyrus was completely engulfed, and he was left completely paralyzed from the encounter, the wings would slowly elongate out of the ocean like an all-encompassing void. Nothing was Impossible, everything was possible.

He was pulled slowly into the dragons gaping black maw, losing his ability to rationalize or comprehend as he passed through the Omniverse. Zazyrus would fade away into nothingness as he was being devoured by the great dragon. The great dragon did not ‘kill’ Zazyrus. When he was devoured, he was sent as a disembodied spirit to witness the suffrage of over a quintillion worlds all across the omniverse. He was sent on a journey of endless agony and despair to feel the suffering of every sentient being he came across. Through his suffering, a voice whispered in his ear of forbidden truths and unspoken ideals. Zazyrus was driven to many different states of madness, but would slowly form a coherent mindset soon.

Zazyrus was made anew by the evil force that molded him, and through the torment, a faithful servant was born. Zazyrus, in his perception of time, had been on a journey for over a trillion years. In the actual world, he had merely been gone for a week. The great dragon manifested in between the narratives that composed the omniverse and opened its gaping maw to spew the form of Zazyrus back into the narrative. He was sent into a sister AU of his original one with all the original characters and stories intact.

Zazyrus, a completely new person, casually dawned on his holy robes as he descended from the sky and straight through the earth into the underground. Before the human inhabitants, a magnificent figure dressed in white gently lowered themself into the main city square of their civilization. Many recognized the smiling figure to be Papyrus and were bewildered by his sudden from the sky. He then would gently address their bewilderment with a kind and reassuring smile before proceeding to eloquently explain their situation. In his speech, he conveyed a sense of calmness and awareness of the strange situation they've been presented with. He'd then apologize for the next action he'd take as he slowly raised his arms over his head and, with a proud smile, clasp his hands together with the might of god.

The energy, speed, and force from the simple clasp of his hands manifested in the form of a supernova. The supernova made quick work of every celestial body in the solar system and completely decimated the only planet capable of supporting life. Zazyrus stood in the void, pride etched in his features. He smiled joyously as he was able to free his past life from the shackles of mediocrity and elevate it into a state of bliss. He'd think about staying in this AU a little longer and admiring the stars he once looked up to as a child. However, Zazyrus knew he couldn't remain here for much longer. He had different universes to visit, churches to fashion, and a holy book to be written. So much to do, so little time. He would casually embrace the stars with his mind, and force every solar system in the universe to simply die away. Essentially, Zazyrus killed every star in existence like one would blow out a simple candle. Every planet in existence became rouge without a massive celestial body to follow. Nothing was left here. Zazyrus extinguishing the light of the stars was a metaphor for the end.

Zazyrus happily sighed, and quickly went off to explore vast new AUs and various civilizations.

Personality

Zazyrus is a devotee and absolute Zealot of Fortran, serving him with the entirety of his being. When the great black dragon vomited Zazyrus out of the omniversal ocean, the human papyrus was left with a newfound devotion and admiration for the glorious purpose of Fortran. Zazyrus firsthand witnessed the pointlessness of morality and action which psychologically detached him from the socially acceptable good or wrong. Without this key factor of humanity, Zazyrus was left agreeing with Fortran who was present outside the structure and therefore was free of this essentially meaningless fictional verse.

He was made to view Fortran as the one true supreme being who will help him, and his gatherings of followers, into a new world where they may never find suffrage. He never deviates from the path laid by his master and never truly associates with those who exist outside of his influence. To him, all of these lives led by individuals across the omniverse are inherently meaningless. A twisted morality that fuels these actions states that the servitude of Fortran is good, and rebelling against him is the purest of evil. To Zazyrus, all are lost sheep in need of a shepherd.

Outside of being a psychopathic monster, Zazyrus is shown to be a charismatic individual who is a master of manipulation and brainwashing. All those beneath him are blind sheep in need of a shepherd to guide them to safety. They do not know better, as they are trapped in the mediocrity of their small field. Zazyrus will gladly free them from their imprisonment, and casually kill off the wolves who dare hinder his progress. He is not afraid of death as long as it’s in service of who he worships.

Aeternium-weaved body armor

Zazyrus wears a thin set of fully fexible plated aeternium armor underneath his holy garments. Aeternium is generally known to be an anomoulas metal not familiar with the laws of physics and capable of withstanding infinite force. Aeterniun is also known to be able to keep the wearer anchored in a single-dimensional point and able to be entirely immune to reality warping.

Adaptive Perception

Zazyrus has a unique ability that shields him from processing higher beings that'd have an adverse effect on his mind. It essentially shields him and grants immunity to witnessing beings which instantly would break the casual observer. This perception extends to the higher-dimensional concepts as a whole.

Divine Physiology

Zazyrus is a God, not simply just a cosmic entity. He may answer prayers across the multiverse, manifest lesser 'avatars' of his divine being, enhance his power from the worship of mortals, and claim lordship over all divine portfolios.

Godly Blasters

Zazyrus possess burning white blasters capable of scorching reality. In a sense these blasters fire beams of conceptually burning Inferno, capable of erasing victims from history and reality.

Zazyrus possess an unearthly charisma capable of instantly brainwashing and controlling individuals who witness his presence or personality. He can carry this influence all across the expanses of the universe.

Zazyrus can essentially control the plot and finer elements of any given story. He can force the universe to focus on a single person as the main character, control fate, and basically manipulate elements of the story to his liking.
